With the car flying thru its MOT & the garage fitting me in 1st it left me nearly a full day to get out & about despite the gloom i headed for Cannock Chase & got myself settled by a large puddle & waited for the Crossbills to come into drink,the birds came in about every hour or so & i managed to get some nice shots before rain stopped play!!
