Think I will have a trek up the pool in the next couple of days Dave. It will be interesting to find out if my birding skills have improved over the last year. Think I had been interested for about 3 months when I met you last and you gobsmacked me with the knowledge that I needed to learn. I can now pick out a wren , blackbird, robin and a cuckoo lol by its song (learning quick though)
Hi Colin,the pool should be teaming with migrants in the next week or 2!! With Martins maybe a Common Tern & Common Sandpiper usually in the 3rd wk of April normally off the dam wall
