On Sunday we headed down finally for the 2 male Penduline Tits at Horsebere Floods,Gloucs with the wind playing havoc & the birds keeping low & elusive but non the less a welcome lifer for Donna & only the 2nd time I've had them in Britain....

Headed over to Ladywalk NR,Warks on the Sat & was rewarded with Siberian Chiffchaff, Marsh Tit & 1 Willow Tit before going into B Hide where Donna had her best views of Bittern on the deck with the bird fishing in the reeds for almost an hr.........

Been a slow few weeks just local patch working with not much to show apart from a cpl of Jack Snipe at Marsh Lane NR on 23rd Jan, 3 Stonechat, 3 Ringed Plover & 300+ Golden Plover at Middleton lakes & a Siberian Chiffchaff with Commons at Ladywalk.......
